Our stories, dreams and passions distinguish us, but it's together that we create something unique and recognizable. Indeed, the collective is a union of distinct individualities recognized in a common identity but cannot be assimilated into one.
Researching this idea, on the anniversary of the founding of FROM, a chore jacket was born, made in cotton canvas, unisex, and blue that matches everything. It is irresistible and versatile: perfect for an evening bike ride, to the market to pick out the season's vegetables, to give a special gift, for an important meeting or a first date. The symbol of recognition becomes the most depersonalizing cape - the Uniform - reinterpreted instead as a garment of original distinction.
Collective Uniform is thus the oxymoron of recognizing oneself in a larger unit in which one merges but also maintains one's independence and individuality.
